Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

Summary: NexaTrack collects only the minimum data needed to operate the service. We do not sell your data, we do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we use open-source mapping (OpenStreetMap) instead of proprietary services.

1 Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use NexaTrack:

2 How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the tracking service.

3 Third-Party Services

NexaTrack uses the following third-party services to render the interactive map:

OpenStreetMap — Map tile data loaded from OpenStreetMap servers. See OpenStreetMap's privacy policy.

Nominatim — City names converted to coordinates. No personal data sent. See Nominatim usage policy.

Tailwind CSS CDN — Stylesheet loaded from a CDN for visual styling only.

We do not use Google Maps, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising networks.

4 Data Security

All passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA256 via Werkzeug — never stored in plain text. Client shipment data is access-controlled: each client can only view shipments assigned to their account. Session tokens are stored in secure, server-side sessions.

5 Data Retention

Shipment history and account data are retained for as long as the service is operated. Administrators can delete client accounts and shipment records at any time through the admin panel.

6 Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact your NexaTrack administrator to exercise these rights.

7 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of NexaTrack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
